A core aspect of the mission of Sacred Spring Reiki Collective is to support the development of Reiki practitioners. The purpose is to help us all, together in community, strengthen our Reiki practice and renew ourselves as a community of Reiki practitioners.
Sacred Spring Reiki Collective is excited to announce the offering of 4 study groups in Winter/Spring of 2024 to explore 4 different elements in the System of Reiki. In each of these study groups, participants will learn and practice different tools and techniques in each element to find those which resonate with each person and which assists the participant to deepen their spiritual journey with Reiki. Facilitators for study groups will be Paula Terrero and Frances Varela. You may take as many study groups as you like or maybe there is one in particular that is calling to you. Please email sacredspringreiki@gmail.com to obtain a registration form. A $50 deposit will be needed to hold your spot.
Reiki Principles Study Group: In this study group, we will explore and deepen our understanding of the five precepts that Usui Mikao taught to support Reiki Practitioners on their path of self-healing and spiritual development. They are the most important element in the System of Reiki; they are the foundation. The precepts are a set of guidelines to live by and to embody in our hearts. They are guidelines for how to practice all the elements in the system of Reiki. In the study group, participants will uncover their connection to each of the 5 precepts and how these precepts impact their lives. Meditations and other exercises will be shared to create awareness of how to incorporate the principles in our daily lives and how to embody them to bring about inner peace and balance. Participants will be asked to keep a journal of their work with each principle each week. There will be five sessions. This study group is open to all levels of Reiki practitioners. Reiki Meditation Study Group: Meditation helps us to find our way home to our true self and to drop out of our ordinary mind that is the seat of all turmoil and distress in our lives. Reiki meditations are based on the breath as well as physical and energetic movement. In this study group, participants will practice different meditations within the system of Reiki that will help practitioners deepen their connection to 3 energetic centers important in Reiki practice and awaken their connection to their own inner bright light.. This study group is open to all levels of practitioners. These sessions will be offered via zoom.

Hands on Healing Community Reiki Practice Study Group: This study group will include additional techniques for self-healing and hands on healing with others from a Japanese perspective. Study group will compare differences between individual practice and community Reiki practice. Participants will learn intuitive hands-on healing practices, such as working with Byosen. Exercises will be practiced heightening practitioners’ sensitivity to the flow of energy when treating self and others.
This study group is open to all levels of Reiki practitioner. The 2 beginning and ending sessions will be held via zoom and will be 2.5 hours. Two in-person 4-hour practice sessions will be held in the healing space at Sacred Spring Reiki Collective, 3321 Candelaria Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.

Working with Mantras and Symbols Study Group: Reiki symbols and their associated mantras are taught in Level 2 and Level 3. The essence of Reiki symbols and their associated mantras is that they are tools that focus our mind to awaken our connection to our own inner energetic being and to remember that we are already connected to everything in the universe. In this study group, participants will learn and practice meditations, chanting and other exercises to deepen their connection to the energetic qualities that the symbols represent. Students will explore methods to use the symbols in their own self-healing practice and for the treatment of others. This study group is open to Reiki practitioners who have completed Level 2 Okuden training or higher. These five sessions will be held via Zoom. This will be facilitated by Paula. They will be 2.5 hours in duration.
